Don’t get it twisted, Coraline is serious. This movie takes stop motion to a new level, raising the bar to impossible heights. When you see this movie you understand why it took years to make. G1 will never look at visual story telling the same way, seeing it in 3D created this organic flow that resembled graffiti art. It was bold, vibrant, intricate and yet the art flow was natural and smooth. On the heels of his stardust success, writer, Neil Gaiman continues to prove that his imagination has no bounds and his ability to stimulate the viewers senses. Henry Selick, who also directed The Nightmare Before Christmas, executed this movie perfectly, the pacing of the story was on point, and the progression of intensity and tension would rival any live action feature. If you appreciate experimentation and top shelf story telling, go see this movie.

Not to mention, we got these fresh kicks inspired by the film.
