‘Wilting Wonder’ is an exhibition of new work by Mike Aho, Mel Kadel, Travis Millard, and Michael Sieben. All four artists regularly collaborate on projects together and Wilting Wonder is their latest endeavor. For this show, the artists are appropriating printing techniques and materials from the commercial art world while converting them into art objects as opposed to advertisements for a product. Recycled plastic and biodegradable inks will be used as the medium to explore themes present in the artist’s personal work such as loss of innocence and the fading magic of childhood. In addition, each of the artists will be exhibiting recent individual works on paper and/or wood which will create a visual tension between the mediums.
